Department Information

Maintenance done in state-funded space to the buildings, grounds or fixed equipment (e.g., central heating and air conditioning, doors, windows, etc.) as well as routine custodial service is funded by Facilities Management at no charge to the client. The most common types of maintenance requests are temperature adjustments, relamping of ceiling fixtures, repairing leaky faucets and unclogging drains. To report a maintenance problem, call the 24-hour Trouble Call Center at (310) 825-9236.

Maintenance in or alterations to non-state funded space are funded by the client as recharges. Alterations and special services for state-supported space are also funded by the client as recharges. Examples of recharged work are custodial services for special events, installation of electrical outlets or shelving and redesign of offices. To obtain services, you must submit a Facilities Service Requests to the Customer Service Center. Call (310) 206-8847 if you have any questions.

The central administration for Facilities Management, Environment, Health and Safety and Transportation Services.

 

CAMPUS MAINTENANCE
Landscaping and grounds maintenance; custodial, recycling, pest control and emergency response.
 
CRAFTS AND ALTERATIONS
Building and systems maintenance; repair and renovation; client-specified projects and major emergency response.
 

CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER
Point of departmental access to Facilities services; client billing and financial information - (310) 206-8847.

 
DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project management services from conception through design, execution and completion.
 
ENERGY SERVICES AND UTILITIES
Operates the Central Cogeneration heating and chiller plant; maintains utility systems throughout campus and the Center for Health Sciences.
 
FINANCE AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
Facilities Management and EH&S budget planning, accounting services and network support.
 
MATERIEL MANAGEMENT
Procurement, warehouse and inventory services for Facilities Management.
 
PERSONNEL/PAYROLL
Personnel matters for General Services (Facilities Management, EH&S and Transportation Services) including health and welfare, employee and labor relations, classification, compensation, recruitment, employee selection and payroll benefits.
 
SPACE INVENTORY
Comprehensive facilities data and building floor plans for all UCLA properties and leases.
